I recently replace the heater and evaporator core, as well as the accumulator on the 2000. Now I have no hot air coming from any of the vents. I have determined that the temperature blend air door is not opening when you adjust the temp knob. All wiring is connected, as are all vacuum lines.

What are the chances that the motor/gearbox that works the blend air door is bad, or that the door is stuck in the closed position? Has anyone had luck in replacing this motor/gearbox without removing or loosening the hvac box?

The blend door is known to get blocked or broken for that you will have to take the it apart. The blend door should be electric, you should be able to check out the motor.
