My 2014 RAM 2500 Cummins Laramie HVAC door(s) make noise (moving)after the engine has been shut off, even after a day or so. The dealer reflashed my computer, but it still does it. Has anyone else had this issue and how was it fixed?
Thanks in Advance.

Larry

Check the post by sag2 in THIS thread for an explanation of the noise. It's also mentioned in the TDR Magazine, Issue 86, page 33.

I hate hearing the sound, only because it reminds me of the times I've had to pay to have blend door/recirc door problems fixed. I'm too big to get under there and do it myself (a lot of cursing happened when I tried on my 2nd gen), and the dealer wants like 6-8 hours to get this job done. Any sound from under/behind the dash sounds like dollar signs to me, even if they are "normal" sounds. I think I have a nervous twitch when I hear them. :)

I wondered what that was and why it would occur with ignition off & no key in.

Didn't know if it was HVAC or that Engine intake system that pulls in cooler air in hot weather and shuts out the snow in cold weather.

Bill thanks for the sag2 link, and thanks all for your replies. I will be looking at my bellows, and see if when approaching with out my key fob it still does it.
