Hvac doors replaced ,do I need to get them calibrated?

Just replaced my HVAC doors with the heater treater doors and am wondering if need to take it to the dealer to have them calibrated.I don't see how they can calibrate them the way they are wired but I also don't want to do this job a third time .

i may be wrong, but for some reason Im thinking that at each key-on the actuators run a self calibration.

I've read the same thing. This leads to factory plastic breaking because of constant induced stress.

So it sounds like it might be something that needs to be done .I"m just trying not to drop 125 bucks if iI don't have to.

No they SELF calibrate

Correct. The system knows the limit of travel by measuring current draw, and then positions the doors by counting armature rotations when you select different functions.
