HVAC Memorial Sticker Design

Gents,

I am working on a memorial sticker that we can put on our trucks for Nowel (HVAC) and I wanted to get some design ideas from the TDR members. I have very limited talent at making graphics or design so what I need is actual designs from you all.



What I have in mind right now is some kind of image of his truck with "RIP HVAC" either under it or in it somehow.



Anyone else have any ideas or if there is a graphics artist out there who would be willing to lend a hand it would be great.



These stickers will be sold with all profits going to Nowels Fund.

I'd like to suggest to say "In Rememberance of. . " instead of RIP.

Are you kidding me? I can do something FAST, but I would suggest something simple, that speaks volumes to me.



Something like:



We Shall Remember: HVAC



I can whip up some graphics when I get done with dinner in about 45 minutes.



Any ideas?

Sorta partial to Merrick's idea, maybe his truck in the backround, his portrait in the foreground (centered over the truck), and then, "In Rememberance of HVAC(or Nowell)" scrolled around the peremeter on a round decal.

Guys,

Drag Diesel (Jake) is working on a couple of ideas also. The RIP has been droped in favor of "in remberence of" or something similar. He has also put Nowel HVAC Thomas instead of HVAC. We are trying to keep the design simple because vinyl cut stickers do not show much detail and the more color the more the cost. I would really like to keep the entire sticker red in honor of the red rocket, but that is just me. We have a cartoonish looking drawing of the red rocket that Jake is using as the truck in the sticker.



Keep the suggestions coming and if you are at all talented in making this sort of graphic, please make one and send it to me. Once we get a good looking bunch of submissions we will post them and have a poll on the best one.

The black smoke could come out of the nostrils of the ram or you coul have a stack or two coming up out of the horn bellowing smoke

That is the cartoonish logo Jake is working with right now. Trying to make it all one color and maintain the detail is hard.

Why not a halo kind of hovering over the letters "HVAC," and the phrase, "Gone but not forgotten" or "In Remembrance" under that? Simple, easy, effective... .



I still have one like that, with the names Davey Allison, Neil Bonnett, and Alan Kulwicki on it. Bought two, used one.

Hate to be a party pooper, but making it one color won't let it keep the detail, black and white looks good, but that is 2 colors, plus the gray inbetween adds more.



I think it should be red to honor the little red rocket, his favorite color.

I did this in Photoshop in GIF and PDF. Background can/should be transparent. Copyright free. I'd place one on the back window and one near the soot-pipe. I think HVAC would like the one near the pipe .

Like Stranger said, all mine are PDF, and can eb made into any format, with a transparent background.

Count me in also with whatever you guys design . It would be real nice if it was something a bit more lasting, like the TDR badges, but I know that would take alot more $$$ and effort. Nowel is worth the extra push though, IMHO. Regardless, a decal is good as well.

I have no doubt that you have alot going on regarding Nowel Thomas right now... . but.....
I'd like to ask a favour.

As moderator in the 1st Gen Forum my guys and I are working on something for HVAC's memory.
Would you be able to pass along some examples/insights/outstanding deeds etc that you may know of regarding Nowel and his history in the diesel sport industry???

If you know of anyone else who may have something to contribute PLEASE, encourage them to send that info along to me at my personal home email.
