HVAC problems.

Has anyone had any luck with getting a repair done on there 2006 truck when it was out of warranty even thou the problem was documented much early(7000 miles)This is an issue with aloud noise under the dash that I believe is related to the blend door in the HVAC system. Does anyone know if they have a TSB or recall related to the HVAC system on 2006 trucks. I have called Chrysler and I need as much info as I can get to plead my case.

there is at least one tsb for a "new" blend door
I had it updated, and it still broke.

(if door breaks, chunks fall into the blower motor and can/will make noise cause its blocking air and not balanced.
two or three little bolt, check it out. )

The dealer says that it is the fan making all the racket. That's what I thought at first and I did pull the fan and found no broken pieces in the HVAC housing. I ran the fan when I had it out and it did finally make a little bit of a noise but not like when the fan was installed. I'm still not sure. Waiting to here from Chrysler to see if they are going to help me with the cost of the repair. I found a OEM fan for just around $100. The dealer wants $300 to fix the fan.
