Competition Looks like the ricer's r catching up..

I was told that a 40 doesn't like NO2? Or, should I say won't live too long by both (running) together? My other question is, do you need alot of "smoke" for the NO2 to work best? How much H. P. gain is possible? I see that Nitros Express says up to 300 H. P. ? WOW! Just curious, and at this time I think the camshaft addition would better suit my needs. Oh, also I was told that propane will clear up the smoke as well but is hard on diesels due to pre detonation? What's your opinions.

I would doubt you have the smoke necessary with just Stage 3's for nitrous. The HX40 works well up to 500hp, but most nitrous applications push well over that. A larger turbo will have bigger components and be more robust in the situation where the acceleration rate of the wheels is very quick.

Propane also seems to lose its effectiveness as power levels go up on just diesel. At 300hp, you can get about 75hp or so. At 550hp, 35hp is about all you'll see.
