A Stock 40 is a good BOMB,, but not the kind of BOMB you want.



Curious why you would want a stock '40 (no Flames, just pure curiousity)



I wouldn't recomend a stock '40, but that isn't to say I don't use one.

I know of a few people who have been pretty hard on a stock 40 with no problems...



I am at the end of the line with my PDR 35... I have just put on a 16cm non-wastegated housing which has helped a bit, here is what I am running...



Edge EZ / BlueChip APB, and DDIII's...

I'm almost at the same point as you. I did find a place that sells a 40 compressor side kit to turn the 35 into a hybrid for about $200. I don't know anyone that has done that or if it would really help, but it may be another option.



I've heard a few good things about a B1B. A little more money (in relative terms) than a PDR 40 but it is supposedly better at handling the constant barking we see here in all of the traffic.
