Has any one swapped from a hx35/40 to a 62/65/12. I'm sure having a larger exhaust wheel that it would be a litter laggier, but how much. How do the two compare for towing 10k at around 4-6000'. How much air does the 62 flow. I think my hybrid is around 800 cfm.

I but an HTBG on mine with a 14 cm housing and I can't believe how well it spools. HTBG is 57mm compressor, 65 turbine wheel. I ran a 62/12 on my 01 for a while. It did a great job cooling, but in 6th gear under 2000 rpm forget it. It would get warm with a set of diesel dynamics 125HP injectors. Above 2000 rpm it would pull 90+ mph dragging 12k. This was at elevations below 1000 feet.

You have a better injector than I did.

3. 54 with 285 tires on an 01 HO.

my 57mm s300 does well. It is much better than the 35/40. I have not tried bigger as the htbg I have is great for 420HP

Is my drive pressure gonna kill my head gasket, if so I can put my 1. 6's back in. My wastegate is set at 40. If I stud It can I keep the 150's in or is that pushing my luck. I'd like to keep it reliable, if thats possible for a dodge. :)

I think the HX35 turbine wheel is going to still be more restrictive with a 14cm housing vs. an S300 even with a 12cm.

plus the S300 gates all cylinders, not just the rear three
