Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) hx35/40

I'm looking at an HX35/40 for my 97 12v. will i need a new down pipe? I'm installing a new 4" from turbo back. I have a PAC brake now. will the PAC brake have to go or will it still bolt up, to the HX35/40??? any body done this?

Kirk, you will use the same downpipe with an HX35/40 hybrid and YES you can also keep your exhaust brake

thanks for the info. how much gain and cooling should i expect from the hx35/40?

Depending on what turbine housing you go with(waste gated/non wastgated) your exhaust will have to be moved about 1" foward with the non wastgated housings.
