Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) HX35 bearing fit

Are the bearings supposed to be a press fit in the housing or do they float in the housing?

I called HTT and they said the bearings float in the housing.

You can down load a repair manual and get some good info from

I had already read the manual and unless I overlooked it, it doesn't answer the question. It just says "Install bearings". Just wanted to make sure my housing wasn't worn out.
