I'd like to get a copy of the compressor and turbine maps for the HX35 from Holset. I was planning on emailing them directly, but I thought I would try the brains here first to see if anyone knows a good way to go about attempting to get them.

I'm not sure if this data would be competition-sensitive or not.

Can anyone offer any advice??

I have some information here

I have not been able to find complete compressor maps for any holset turbochargers... which is the main reason I am staying away from them in my Twin Turbo Project

However the HT3B has been made by other companies and you can find the compressor maps for them if you dig deap enough

I have tried, and tried, and tried, and tried, and tried, but I couldn't find it.

I did a lot of turbo sizing when I worked at Cooper. We could get compressor maps for about anything by contacting the manufacturer and going through aftermarket sales people. Never got a turbine map, though, they consider them sacred. Usual procedure was to pick a frame size that offered a compressor section in the middle of where we wanted to be and then trimed it with exhaust housings, and maybe a compressor wheel/ housing. It was as much an art as a science, and lots of trade offs.

I want it to run a cycle analysis on it, so I can do performance predictions. And because I have way too much time on my hands, I guess.

If I can only get a compressor map, I suppose that's something... although not so useful without the associated turbine. Maybe I could substitute a generic map...
