Drive pressure takes more HG out. No flame taken just trying to help you as I can. When your truck grows up (LOL) and gets a bigger charger they can run close to or less than 1 to 1.

Pressure is correct... it's called firing pressure. This firing pressure is the result of the air/fuel mixture detonating under compression pressure. The more fuel and air you had to the cylinder, in the proper ratio, the more violent the detonation is, driving firing pressures up.



The large diesel generator engines I worked on all had fire deck gaskets (o-rings) for this very reason. Head gaskets alone can't withstand extreme firing pressures. Hope this helps.
