Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HX40 downpipe

Where’s the best place to get a HX40 down pipe? I have 4inch on my truck with a 4inch down pipe is there any place that I could just get the machined nipple that clamps on the back of the HX40 then I could use my old 4inch down pipe and just tig on the adapter.



Also are the turbos on the 3rd gens a 3 inch or 4 inch exhaust coming out the back I thought may be if it was 4inch I could put a 3rd gen e-brake on the HX40

piers diesel sells hx40 downpipes, also i think diesel dynamics, but i may be wrong

diesel dynamics sells the flange. Keith was the only person from any of the big suppliers that helped me out on that one when I was in your shoes going to the HX40!!! just couldn't see spending $150 on a downpipe when all I needed was a flange!

I got my 4" downpipe from Rip Rook at Source Automotive (1-866)-211-1533 for $90

I have seen the flanges available at a couple sites on the internet. If I rememebr right it was around $30 or so. I will see if I can dig up a location if you are still in need of one.
