Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) hx40 Wanted

I was wondering if any body had a used hx 40 for sale.

Have you looked in the TDR classifieds? There are usually a few in there. That is where I found mine.



You will want a modded 40 (as my PDR HX-40). The out of the box stock 40's are more laggy than the modded turbos.

I need to look for another exhaust housing as I have a good one but the housing is cracked bad!

What do you thing about a hx 40 from diesel dynamics? My set up right now is 97 12v full comp automatic from haisley machine, no plate, 370s,air intake, 5in exhaust,and and the brass fitting for the stock turbo. How much power do you think its making?

Never used a turbo from DD, but should be a good one.



Power-wise, I'd think 350 or a little more, at the flywheel. I think I'm in the neighborhood of 350-400fwhp. Need to get on the rollers again.
