yeah what the heck is wrong with your truck?!??!! There is no way thats efficient, and you better be careful or your gonna blow that turbo. I was sketched out when my hx35 buried my 35psi gauge!

Sounds like you are turbo challenged... ... ... ... So what does it sound like with that little turbo when you hit the nos?

After fixing the exhaust leak, and adjusting the wastegate to 38#'s, the truck is MUCH more enjoyable to drive. Hardly any lag now, and smoke is way down! Highest EGTs I've seen is 1350-1400, where as with the leak, and gated at 26#'s my pyro would move quicker than my boost gauge! Thanks again guys!

Bryan,

When are we going to see that new turbo do its thing ????

Check the May 5 race date coming up soon at Byron.

We could give that setup a try there. Oo.

I'd like to hit the track. Never done it before.

I haven't hit my "test" hill with the new turbo yet. Bone stock I could barely top the hill at 55mph. Now, I'm nosing 75+. Can hit 65/70 half way up. :D Need a 3k GSK now. that is my limiting factor now, for speed. Might be a bit faster now, since the fuel comes on quite a bit harder.

All the mods in your sig and no GSK? IMO these trucks should come from the factory with a GSK. It is not just the ability to fuel to 3k that makes them great. The all around drivability is so much better with a GSK. I agree you need a GSK now. You will wonder why you put it off for so long.

If you think your 40 is laggy, get a 55!!! Also 16* should not hurt your stock HG. I ran mine at almost 20 for about 2 years. And was by no means easy on it. No head studs or o-rings, no problems. Its now a good bit higher than that, and have pulled the truck 4 times. pushing 500+ HP and its still intact

Bryan,

It sounds like you are almost ready for baseline run at the track to see how your truck is doing.

Of course, a dyno run would also be a great idea. ;)

You could spend the tax rebate on HHHMMMM-------- :D

Its good to hear spring is coming & its almost racing season. Oo.
