I saw a HX65 turbo with wastegate on e-bay; I think it is from a L series Cummins. Is that a bolt up to a 5. 9? Will I see more boost and lower egt?

Be nice to me guys... the only dumb question is one that doesn't get asked!

An HX-65 will not bolt up to a 5. 9L B-series... without an adapter plate. It probably won't spool until at least 3500 RPM, either. Unless you whack it with a big shot of NOS.



That's a rather large turbo probably best suited as a 'bottom' turbo in a twin-turbo arrangement.
