HY-35 to a HX 35 16cm

I am selling a HX35 with a 16cm housing, and the possible buyer has a 2001 auto with a HY-35 on it and was in question if it would bolt up for sure. Are there any differeces? Thanks in advance.

Yes the turbo will bolt up exactly the same to the engine. The only problem he will run into is, the 16cm exhaust housing is a little shorter by about 1. 25in" because there is no wastegate. He can either 1) extend his exhaust system or down pipe forward, or 2) buy a ready made 1. 25in exhaust housing spacer from Diesel Injection of Pittsburg. Or if he's replacing his exhaust anytime soon to a 4", then he won't have any problem fitting the down pipe a little forward to make up the difference.

I think he said he upgraded the exhaust, so he should have a little room to play with.
