Hybrid '02 & '03 Towing Mirrors?

So I gotta ask... Has anyone taken the towing mirrors from an '02 and stuffed the power guts from an '03 in there? I am wanting to do this on my '01, and was curious if anyone has done it... I really don't want to lose the power functions, but I may have to...

I'm going to be doing this same conversion, just waiting for the '03 mirrors to get here (two or three weeks). I'll let you know how it works out.



You might also want to look over this thread where someone was starting this process by mounting the '01/'02 mirrors and in countered an interfearance problem with the power control switch, just something to watch out for. Power mirror control interferes with towing mirror mount

Did you get your "hands" on a set of towing mirrors?

I haven't decided between towing mirrors or multi-signal mirrors? I'm more inclined to add more LED's.

I want some towing mirrors... . Badly... I have even posted an ad in the classifieds. . right now, I am getting the NV4500 back running again... . I will be glad to have my truck back!!!!
