Saw a hybrid for sale with a 40 compressor and a 35 16cm exhaust...

Any thoughts on how any of these would fare in an approx 450 hp application (no towing, some racing... )?

They are all great turbos. But if you have a decent HX35, you can make an HX40/HX35 hybrid for a lot less than buying either of the others. A straight HX40 needs a new downpipe, too. I'm not sure about the B1.

I am running this turbo with a 16 housing and making substantially more power than 450 and it works pretty darn good. It wont take care of my long term goals of a turbo but will make the perfect little turbo! :D I'd say for the dollars you cant beat the value and performance of this turbo.
