Hydroboost and starter

Hi all I'm a 3rd gen guy , this question is from my brother. He has a 93 and he is wanting to put 97 hydroboost on it will he need to update the power steering pump? also he needs a new starter and he said he can get a gear reduction starter , will this be better than the stock type starter?

why not fix the vacuum booster ? They are cheaper simpler and work better. Look up my posts and video on the subject. The stock first gen starter is a gear reduction Nippondenso . It was a 3.5 kw model. It was the most powerful of ALL the Dodge truck/Cummins starters ! If you can't find one I have about 150 of them new in the box in stock .
