Syntroleum???

55 gallon barrels?

Just wondering if anyone here has ever tried to use Hydrogen as a fuel supplement for better fuel millage as I am in the middle of building a hydrogen generator to try on my 12v engine.

H2 is a tough thing to cart around with you no? Hydrogen contains much less energy than diesel on a per-volume wouldn't you be doing the opposite? Cali has the most in terms of availibilty but to be any benifit VS $$ I am clueless. But eager.

Going to move this thread to alternate fuels.

You might want to do a search here , you are too late to be bringing a new idea around , it has been hashed over a lot , seems that at this point in most of the sites I hang around , that there is a pause waiting for the results from those that are playing with this , and then there is a lot of nay sayers out there .
I look at it as the same thing as propane injection , the difference being that you are making it , instead of buying .

I know it has been around for 91 years you use it as you make it I have seen mileage up to 70% increase anyway I will know in a week or two I will be useing it on the way to May Madness.

Doug Holfeldt had a H2 generator in his truck back in 2001 or 2002. Used it for supplemental H2 for mileage. Don't remember his results, but he is on here and might respond.

Don't the H2 generators separate the H2 from water? If so couldnt you use the O2 as extra oxygen for an even cleaner burn?

I've been to Doug's place a couple times but he's never mentioned the H2 generator. Dropping him a PM. . .

I had been playing with hydrogen generators for five or six years now. I work with hydrogen innovations out of Blackfoot Idaho. The hydrogen generator that they had built is molded plastic and stainless steel, they have a control device that sets the amperage to the hydrogen generator. Before you had to control the amperage with the amount of electrolyte you add to unit. I also have a propane set up on my truck. The propane yields better fuel mileage than the hydrogen but the hydrogen is taking power to produce. One thing that I can say for both propane and hydrogen is that your oil will stay while cleaner longer. That's due to the propane and hydrogen bonding with the carbon in the fuel and burning it more completely. With propane assessed my truck will be at 23 miles to the gallon with hydrogen assist only I recently got 19. 4 my truck is a 1998 12 valve automatic 1 ton. Hydrogen is very volatile I can take a cup of water and add dish soap put my hydrogen line into it within three seconds I can produce enough hydrogen that when I ignited it sounds like 30 caliber rifle going off. 1 gallon of water has a tremendous amount of energy and it. The problem is generating the power to capture and store that energy. solar generators would be the ideal method of doing that. Hydrogen innovations sent a hydrogen generator to Alaska and was put on some sort of stationary pump with the Cummins on it. They run it for a week and then pour it down there was virtually no carbon on the Pistons are in the combustion chamber.
