Hypertech Power Tuner or DiabloSport Predator PowerPuck

What is the word on these, Pros and Cons.

As far as the diablo goes, I can tell you that the powerpuck didn't work correctly. It caused major bucking and surging in my truck. The vendor was less than helpfull. The Diablo downloader works I guess. It doesn't seem to do much. On extreme my overhead goes crazy and displays giberish so I dont use that setting. I removed it a few weeks ago and dont plan on using it again. I dont have any idea about the hypertech. If I was to do it again I would leave it stock and save my money. As mentioned I used Diablo's products, as well as the Edge EZ and the Quadzilla ZXT. Between these the quadzilla module is the best in my opinion.

For the money Id go with the Smarty jr. a little cheaper then the Edge EZ (although the EZ is still a good prduct). But if your willing and have the funds to support the habit, go with smarty sr. and be prepared to spend tons to up grade engine and transmission to go with the smarty sr.



pros to diablo... hmmm have one makes a good paper wieght!

cons: support... none makes my truck run like cr@p! engine surge, rough idle...



hypertech... note key letters "hyp... "



Smarty jr or Edge EZ for mild gains better then the two above, with like I said, smarty being cheaper, my choice would be smarty jr.
