I recently heard that Hypertech had just released a re-programmer device for the Dodge Ram 24 valve. On the surface it sounds like a pretty good deal, 3 different settings, built in diagnostic code retriever, the ability to re-calibrate your speedo for different size tires, the ability to take advantage of a lower degree thermostat, you can re-load your stock program at any time, and all emmissions legal and DOT approved (pending). And it's available for just over $300.
Supposedly you don't have to have gauges either, according to thier web site, during thier research they made sure that EGT's never got in the danger zone.
I was wondering if anybody had used this product yet, and also what happened with fuel economy as well?
I know SuperChips makes a similiar product, but after doing some research I think I am more interested in the Hypertech.
Thanks
