Prodigy question

RV Trailer's

In couple of weeks headed toward Michigan. Was planning on taking I 75 Cincinnati to Detroit. Am told big delays because of construction. Any first hand comments? If true, alternate route please.

I can't promise about what it'll be like 2 weeks from now, but I just came through there on my way home from one of my perpetual trips to Indiana, and it was fine on the main sections of I-75. (not sure what it's like on I-75 straight through Cincinnati, but it was clear a month ago) I-275 West around the western outskirts of Cincinnati, on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River, is down to one lane in a two-three mile section, and that's the worst of it. North of Cincinnati itself? No idea, hopefully somebody else will chime in here and tell us.

Stop by and visit us at www.blackmountaindiesel.com if you get a chance, we are only about 20 miles east of the Georgetown Route 62 exit of I-75 North , north of Lexington. Email or call first !

michigan and cincy

I run to detroit from cincy 2 times a week. The only delay I come across is the b. s. of getting off the freeway a few miles south of exit 39 near Detroit. They have the bridge out near exit 39. This is Northbound. Southbound, I think the bridge is ok. Just avoid I-75 thru Cincy between 3pm and 6pm. If I go at this time, I always go around the west side. Never take east side of cincy. They have 275 down to 1 or 2 lanes from exit 59 to exit 44. 8 count 'em 8 road projects going on over there simultaniously. The jam Briar is referring to is a piece of cake compared to the above.

Have a safe trip.

Are you going straight to "Detroit"?

Exactly what suburb are you going to. If going in the direction of South Lyon, Take the loop just south of Toledo to the west and get on 23. It is a good highway, and can get you to Detroit too.

Get off of I-75 at Telegraph rd (north) and take that to I-94 (east) to M-39 (southfield fwy. north) exit at Oakwood Blvd. (turn left at the light off the fwy. ) and drive about 2 miles and it will be on your right hand side. By taking this way you will avoid all the major construction! :)
