I am a lucky man!

So, I trying to be the responsible man that I purport myelf to be, placed an ad for the sale of my truck due to my upcoming marriage. I did this without consulting my girlfriend and figured it would not be a big deal. Wow, was I wrong. My girlfriend got very upset and insisted that the truck was not for sale and that I was not to sell it under any circumstance.

Her reasons were very practical and well thought out. I was impressed. Also I believe that she would not be able to tolerate another Dodge search as I dragged her all over Northern Illinois and up into Wisconsin, over a period of 18 mos.

So "thank you" to all for your interest. But the "Billy Big Rig" as her kids call it is no longer for sale.

I find myself in a similar situation, my soon to be wife won't let me get rid of my truck (too reliable and easy to work on) or my 66 CJ5. I was thinking something a bit more comfy for wheeling, but she said I couldn't "wimp out" with a Cherokee or the like.



We are lucky to have found such wonderfull gals to put up with both us and our hobbies.
