Music that makes you think about diesels...old subject, new thread

I left PGH 15 years ago and never looked back. Of course it was because the ROSS and OHIO township police had it in for me.

Truckie,

Come on now. Pittsburgh is not that bad. Just because there are no jobs, the economy is in the tank, taxes are through the roof, traffic is horrible, the tunnels are always closed, Penn DOT just stores barrels for no reason on I279, our subway only goes two blocks, route 28 takes four lanes and turns it into one, and you need 4wd drive to make it through some of the potholes, it is a great city (This is only a short list of what is wront). Atleast the south-side is close to the city, so you can see the filth bloom directly.

Oh Yea, Our lovely mayor (Unnamed) wants to raise taxes to push even more business out of the area to cover the horribly managed financial aspect of our local "Big Brother".

bmoeller,

One side note, I have never seen roads worse than the ones in PA. Ask any trucker. They are not just bad, they are down right dangerous. Couple poor deign with the worst possible maintance and through in a few million freeze/thaw cycles = potholes bigenough to eat cars, and this is on the main roads. Don't even ask about secondary roads.

Just my $0. 02,

-Rich

QRTRHRS, you aren't kidding, but there are some developments going in along 901 now too! I ran all the way through Schuykill county every weekend to get to and from school, I must say, the hill down 901 from I-81 is quite fun in the ice and snow...

PA and IL are in the top 5 states with the worst roads. PA is #1.
