I am Back

I am back after a year hiatus due to the demise of my beloved 99 Ram 2500. You see last June I was hit by a semi truck on I40 just west of Santa Rosa. The Ram, also known as the Gray Beast met her end when a West bound semi crossed the median and hit me in the East bound lane. I should have died that day but by the grace of God and a darn tough Buckstop bumper the driver seat survived while the rest of the cab was destroyed. The Gray Beast has a replacement I now call Gray Beast 2. She is a 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie. So I am back, physically not the same but my love for Rams fully intact.

Thanks, I lost about 25% use of my left wrist and have a permanent limp due to damage to both knees but I am still moving.

Thanks. I think it will take me a while to learn all the tech it has. My 99 was extremely simple in comparison

There was a higher power at work than a simple front bumper.

At any rate I am glad you made it through. My wife had a nearly identical accident as you many years ago, also with lingering effects. I happened upon the accident immediately after the fact, dust still in the air. I was the first to walk up on both vehicles. Both too mangled for me to be of any real value other than to be a voice of comfort. We were merely acquaintances at the time... funny how life happens.
