It is obvious what tank was in town. the tank on 11/1 was a trip to Houston with 2500# in the back. The rest were empty. I usually fill up anytime I am going on a trip over 300 miles. I just hate filling up in the New Orleans area nowadays. I can't wait to get the AMSOIL in the diff and the transmission

and another 5000 miles so I can put the Rotella synthetic in the motor!

I've actually noticed a drop in mine since the ULSD hit the market. Over 74,000 miles I was averaging a little better than 17MPG, hand caculated. The hand calculated mileage for the last month or so has dropped to slightly more than 16MPG, roughly a 6% drop in fuel economy. I've put fewer highway miles on in that time, so the drop may be attributable to that. I'll be traveling a few 500 mile trips in the next couple of months so I'll see if my driving patterns are responsible for the difference. If not, I'll probably start adding Power Service or Howe's to the fuel tank when I fill up. In the past I've only done that when the temps drop below 20*, but if lower lubricity is an issue with ULSD it makes sense to compensate for that.

11000 as of 9 PM!

I have hauled a light trailer maybe 7000# total weight for about 100 miles total. No heavy hauling what soever except the the ton of oilfield iron a few times!
