I just got my Smarty Jr. this afternoon. Thanks Bob! The installation went pretty smooth. I still managed to mess something up and my truck's VIN didn't get recognized. I reinstalled the settings I wanted and it worked perfectly! I went for broke and started out with SW3-TM4-TQ2. I was really pressed for time tonight so I only drove it about a mile. I still have the goofy smile on my face. I can't wait to drive it more tomorrow. I can already tell I will probably have to bump the settings down because I doubt I will have the self-restraint to behave myself.

Jr is a great way to go. What trans do you have? If it's a stock automatic, you will need to back down a bit to preserve what you have.

Yep, stock transmission. I figure I will end up on some SW2 configuration. My truck is more of a family cruiser. I don't tow anything and usually behave myself very well while driving. Most of the time I force myself to drive like "grandpa" to try to get the best fuel milage. The only thing I hate about my truck is filling it up! The type of driving I do I could probably leave it on SW3, but the temptation might be too great. I will be starting a "transmission upgrade fund" for the future. I will eventually upgrade whether it requires it or not. We'll see how it goes.
