I did not have this limiter when the truck was stock. The Banks somehow activated this "speed limiter". I read somewhere that the limiter measures the flosrate of the fuel and limits speed that way? Maybe with the additional flow with the comp it thinks you're going faster?? Don't really know though.

I have noticed the same thing on my truck. I just installed the Banks PowerPack and when I'm standing on it @ 90mph the temps get up to 1200 degree and then then engine shuts down and I coast with my foot still in the pedal then when the temps come down it picks back up. I was going to try unplugging the egt sernsor that goes into the ottomind and see if I can keep going. I just have to find a way to get EGT's down. Probably going to get a larger turbo 14 or 16cm

I don't think it's EGT limiting. When that kicks in it just pulls back the fuel enough to keep them in line. Mine shoots up to 1250F and hovers there now. Try accelerating slowly up to 90MPH and see if it still cuts out. I think you have the same problem I had. I can hold 100MPH now at only 850F!

John-you are correct. I was running yesterday at 80mph then slowly accelerated up and the engine died at or near 90mph. EGT's were at 700 and fuel pressure was good above 7psi throttle wasn't mashed down (it case it senses throttle position) I don't know what to do! I think this is a major design flaw from Banks and am ready to trash it except I put out a lot of hard earned dough. I wish I would have known better then I would have got the TST box-this shutting down crap sucks and is not acceptable.
