Congrats, This you will enjoy later not sooner. Those late night rides to sooth the savage beast. Yes, they can be that at times.



Try a Tahoe or Yukon with the rear (3rd) seat. Ride is good also. Shorter and easier to get around, in some cases. Daughter has one and really likes it compared to Suburban.

she wants a 'burb. Closest that Dodge makes is a Durango, which will be "improperly" fueled, and you don't want a "properly" fueled 'burb, (unless you can find one with a transplanted Cummins!!)



If all else fails, get her a 'stroked Excursion, before FMC ditches the (FINALLY!!!) de-bugged 7. 3.





Oh, yeah, back to the kid, get him/her a . 22, a 20Guage, and some decent pocket knives, a tool box, Cowboy hat, horse (cloth-headed broomstick kind, at least), a copy of the Constitution, copy of the Bible, copy of Book of Mormon, a newspaper from the kid's very own date of birth, 32,000 tons of food, and, if a girl, throw in an Easy-Bake Oven, along with all the other stuff.....



BTW--- LOTS of American Literature!!! Twain, Hawthorne, Thoreau, Frost, Seuss, and some Muppet movies... .

Forget the burb, and get a real truck. My wife just got a Powerstroke Excursion, and she loves it. Trust me... you need the room. Just accept the fact that you will grow out of a surburban over time, so same time, money, depreciation and get an Excursion. It gets over 18 MPG on the highway



BTW... I thought she got some bombs also...

On a more serious note, congratulations. Our daughter is 21 months old and she's the highlight of my life (for an example check the pics at the bottom of this post - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=27248 ). I do have one piece of advice for you though, hold onto your butt cause this is gonna be the ride of your lifetime!!
