I just sold my 2nd gen and bought a 1993 w350 outta the TDR classifieds. I bought the truck I have been dreaming about, and got to buy it from a fella who is a class act in my opinion. So Marty- Thanks for hookin me up, and 1st geners, I look forward to killin you all with crazy mundane questions, and sucking up all the knowledge and advice you will throw my way. Ryan

Oh man, you got Marty's truck! Oo.

I was sitting right next to him at the first gen get together at Piers a couple of months ago. That is one sweet setup under the hood. You got a great truck, wish mine was set up like that one.

Welcome and have a ball! :D :) :)

I looked into this one a while back, but the price tag was a little much for me. Anyway, did he keep the Alcoa's, or are they still on the truck?

Good stuff that is one super sharp truck

Congrats and Welcome aboard

We look forward to some great stories

That's a sweet truck, and a bargain for all you got with it (alcoas or not)! I love that color combo :D

I'm happy for you, and a bit jealous :{

Ryan, Your very welcome.

I'm still sick everytime I look out & see it gone!

I'm glad you're enjoying it down there... good to see it go where there's no salt on the roads or rusting issues so it will still be with us in another 50 years or so!

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I was able to talk Marty into parting with the Alcoas. I have a smile every time I drive it, and Im grateful to have gotten it. Thanks for the welcome, and I cant wait to pick your brains

When I figure out how, Iwill post some pics. If you havnt seen the stuff Marty and Piers did, it is really clean and seems to be first rate.

What are the Alcoas? That isn't the standard lug setup is it? Are they 17s? I definitely like the truck. But for a few goodies and fwd, it looks like my sunday driver first gen. Super rig.

I think you made a good trade from the second gen to Marty's truck. :D

1stgen it has a set of adapters and using big rig tires and rim. Those 19. 5 fill the wheel wells nice to. :D

Welcome Ryan. You'll have to bring your "new" ride out to Iowa next summer, so's I can see it again. My wife will be upset, we saw it this summer and she liked it bunches. I think the comment was made by her,"If you ever want to sell it let me know Marty. " Or something like that.

That is a super sharp ride, take care of it! And of course ask away. If the truck has too many turbos I would gladly switch them out for my stock single!!
