Just wanted to say Hi. I am a first time Cummins owner and new to your site.

My truck is a halfbreed but I'm the happiest I've ever been I have a FORD :D with a CUMMINS Oo. so hopfully I will fit in here.

Yes, welcome to the TDR. Next time though, buy a truck that wasn't raised down south!! J/K , welcome !!!!!!!!

Thanks guys ,RRAUSCH I am running a NV4500 with a 241HD tcase. it is all out right now being built by Haisley Machine can't waite to get it back. Now does anyone have a Dana 80 laying around that they don't need?

we are puting it in our selves,Haisleys is just doing the motor and trany work.

it hasn't been to bad yet. I got a NV4500 for $1000. 00 and a 97 12V with 58000mi on it for $2500. 00 traded my NP271 for a 241HD and all the FORDCUMMINS.com parts came to $375. 00. I was going with a NV5600 witch I got for $1500. 00 but Haisleys said it was not as good as a NV4500.

Welcome lots of good folks here . Thats sounds like a nice setup i have seen a 90s f 250 with 12v conversion and it was a nice rig  . I to would buy an f 250 if cam with a cummins in it. Brian

Actually it's the mainshaft that alot of pullers are breaking. the 4500 is just simpler and stronger, but you cant beat a 5600 for towing/street driving. I think someone has HD mainshafts for the 5600 though, so theres anothe option if your wallet is fat enough.
