I GOT MY NEW TRUCK!!!

OK, sorry for shouting, but boy do I love this thing! It's my first Dodge, my first diesel and my first new truck. I've been waiting, saving and researching for a year now. When my wife finally said a diesel would be OK it didn't take me long to decide against a Ford, even though I use to be a Ford mechanic. The . 9% APR just sweetened the deal. It was born in Oct. at the Mexico plant and has the Delphi box (one of the first things I checked). I just bought it off the lot, I couldn't wait for a special order. I bought it last Wed. in Kellog ID. and put 2000 miles on it driving home to S. E. AK. I was hoping to see some impressive milage but once I got a few hundred miles on it I couldn't keep my foot out of it. I got a little over 18 on the two tanks I checked. I'd like to thank everone that's posted here, I learned alot about these trucks that helped me decide what I wanted and helped me evaluate this one before I bought it.

Congrats 85cj, this was my first diesel and I can tell you that after driving it for a year that I won't own anything else. This truck has been great. I've had no problems.

85CJ Way to go and congratulations. My Mule was my first Diesel also. I love driving it too. The Dodge/Cummins is the only way to go.
