I had a friendly distributor call the dealer who said they wouldnt sell to me as a private owner. He told me the only upgrade on the pump was a sensor that read the low pressure and triggers the low pressure light to come on. He said outside of that the kit is the same thing. I'm not interested in it anymore.

I'm not complaining, I'll make it into a pusher pump and be happy. Of course, my 2nd one is just starting to show signs of deterioration at 92k miles overall on the truck (50k miles on this pump now). A lot more people are pretty jaded by this pump more so than I am, so I'll take my $65 bux and make lemonade out of lemons.

This pump from the kit cycles from low to high, seems to do quite well. My 1st pump lasted for 112,000, if this improved version comes close, I'm happy.

Don :D
