So I went to Centennial and checked out a 2005 NetJets Gulfstream G550. SWEET!!!!!! It arrived from Malga, Spain and I met it after it stopped at Customs. I toured it and sat right seat for an introductory in its new PlaneView avionics package. I will get some pics up!

I also toured a '91 Falcon 2000, pretty cool too.

Some of those new light jets are pretty slick. I'd like to see the glass panel pics when you get them. Glass is a big difference from the old steam gages that are in the DC-6s & C-46s I work on.

Here's a pic of our company's (Universal Avionics) CL-601 Challenger with the glass cockpit. We make most all of the displays and systems seen in the picture. The radio package and autopilot is Collins. It also has triple Honeywell IRSs. The airplane was built in 1989, but most all of the cockpit is new. Here is our product line. If anyone is going to NBAA (Oct 17-19), look us up.

Yup, same Collins. Part of the Rockwell Corp.

The company I work for is Universal Avionics. Our equipment interfaces with much of the equipment made by Collins, Honeywell, Garmin, yada, yada, yada...
