i've tried at least 5 diffrent ramifiers on my 04. 5 ram and they all do the same thing: make it run like it's going to explode! it starts out running all right then after about 20 miles of driving the engine starts knocking bad at low rpm. then when i try to acellerats the whole truck starts shaking like the wheels have i lug nut in each of them. anyone else have this problem. BTW... . took the ramifier off my truck and put it on my buddys 04. 5 2x2 ram with a six speed and it runs awsome! no knocking, engine sounds normal etc... i'd like to get a chip for this truck. i guess i'll wait for the edge juice!... james... .

I think i would give Dennis at TS a call,hes more than capable of making it right for ya,im stacked with the Ramifier and am a happy camper,give him a chance to make it right...

Have you checked your wiring and connections? Sounds like a bad ground, maybe on an injector? Does she smoke at all? Sounds like my injector install problems, long story, but it was a grounding issue, I hope. I will find out in the am when my new wire harness gets here.

i havn't tried checking my injector wiring. i'll check today. i've worked with dennis. he is a great guy. he actually sent me 3 diffrent ones not including the orignal. i've spent over an hour combined on the phone describing the problems. every one does the same thing. as soon as i install it i notice a very diffrent engine sound after 2000rpm. after about 10-20 miles and a few good wide open pulls the engine starts knocking real bad when i lug it and when i turn off the overdrive to bring up the rpm's, the truck will shake like it's injection cycle is off making the motor go crazy! i'll check my connections this morning. i wonder if it has anything to do with the horrible idle when i start the truck. had the reflash done for the poor idle, mpg and white smoke(twice) and still starts bad. almost wants to stall. dealer is blaming running home heating fuel. i find it hard to belive because i run my 99,my dad' 2001, my partners 99 powerstroke and a family friend's 04. 5 ram all out of the same tank with the same fuel. only my 04. 5 runs like s#!t!!... james

This may be a dumb question to you all, but what is a ramaifier? I am not real sure that I have seen this yet.

it's a 100 hp performance chip for 03 and newer rams's.
