I broke my drivers side front inner D60 shaft playing around in the snow on saturday. So I pulled out the broken shaft and put it back together minus the shaft since the new one would take a few days.

Well about 1 mile from my house the bearing seperated and there went my wheel. The caliper held in kinda on and locked up that wheel making me loose control and come to rest on the side of the road.

Now I had a cracked spindle and I think I messed up that bearing thing.

Does anybody know where I can get a driverside knuckle????

and if my bearing is salavageable... .

Thanks,

I will have pics tomarrow

I've got a spare luckly sitting on the ground. Thats funny because I was just talking about what a pile of CRAP the 94 up Dodge Dana 60 is.

;) You'r not the first to post about this, If you need to run without a front shaft knock the outer stub shaft off the u-joint and use it to secure the bearing.

I did this once on a 1/2 ton, didn't realise the nut wasn't on it (sons project) when I pulled it out of the shop went 20 feet I couldn't repair the bearing and believe me I tried, the bearing was a brand new one. That cost me $170. 00 :(
