... I posted a while back about $335 in tickets and not being a happy camper. WELLL,I went to court Friday(6-28)and pleaded my case. I got the neglegent driving dropped and p. b. j. on the speed greater than reasonable. So I ended up paying $70 in fines,$300 to the lawyer :mad: ,and NO POINTS... that's all I cared about with a C. D. L... . Doug

Hmmmmm,,I did not know we had more than one criminal in our little group,,Glad to see your dismissal on most of the problems Doug,man anything on a CDL nowadays is bad news,,My one little question is this-While you were pleading insanity in front of the jp did anyone have a video camera a rollin,might be able to recover you lost lawyer money in a video show,he he he he,,Now will you behave yourself or we will install a speed and power governor on your slightly underpowered truck at the next M-D TDR rally... ..... From his other thread on this subject:

PBJ=Probation Before Judgement

I guess it's a "Keep your nose clean for a year and the charges go bye-bye" kinda thing.

Outlaw...

... That's me. Actually this is my first offense in 5+years. p. b. j. means I have to be a good boy for 1 year or the suspended point will be brought back. Yea,Andy I guess I'll have to pull the injectors,the box and the stacks... NOT:p . I thought they were going to say something about illegal exhaust,but it was never brought up. My lawyer found out I was driving a diesel and said"Diesels are not real fast anyway,right". I go"yea these things just make a lot of noise and smoke,but they are just dogs" ;) ;) ... . Doug P. S. Andy,when's the next Dyno Day at Kauffmans.

Deferred Adjudication ???

I did not know they had any five syllable words in Texas. Now I'm only kidding as I realize the TDR is about 1/2 Texans. . :D :D :D :D :D

GOOD one Doug.

Howdya keep a straight face?:D

It was hard Ed,but I figured just let them keep thinking that,it would only help my case. Of course I didn't tell them how fast it did in the 1/4 or what it did on the dyno ;) . I didn't say anything about jetpilots or stacked and jacked's trucks either:) ... Doug

Doug,

I'm glad it's all working out for you.

I know back when I had to carry a CDL every ticket was a huge PITA.

Thank goodness I don't have to worry about that with this "low powered, noisy, smokey truck" :-laf and my current job doesn't require a CDL.

Hope to see ya' at the Diesel Power Store on the 27th.

Depends on what part of Texas. Out west, most ordinary two-syllable words seem to have two or three extra; 'adjudication' would be at *least* 9 syllables. :)
