Electric power washer fix??

The title sums it up, I live here and it sucks. I want a Taurus Judge, nope not in CA. It's a short barrel shotgun. The state is bankrupt financially and morally. It's full of fruits and nuts. Illegals make up 1/3 of the population. The air is bad.

Everything good for sale has a disclaimer, "not for sale in CA". I was born and raised here and all my family is here but I've had enough. I have inlaws in Dallas and I'm considering moving there. Anyone is Dallas want to chime in?

I am hating California more each day. My kids moved to Austin and love it , over the counter gun buys , concealed weapons permit , cheap housing.

You already sound like HBarlow, you might as well move to Texas.

Be advised, the Taurus Judge is nothing to write home about. Other than the fact you can't get it here, it really has no appeal.

But c'mon man... you live in Fresno. Even Californians make fun of Fresno. :-laf With that said, I too hope to return to free America someday. Good luck!

Politics aside, and Fresno, where are you going to find all else CA has to offer. An hour from Fresno and you're in some flat out gorgeous mountains. Like the coast? We have some good stuff. I could go on and on. Its not the state, its the people and most of the bad ones are stuffed in LA and the Bay area. If we could just ditch the whole govt and start over this would be a nice state.

I don't mean to knock CA but, I am amazed at how my perspective of the state has changed in my lifetime.

I grew-up in Detroit & was in highschool in the early 60's. Used to watch TV programs centered in CA, listened to the Beach Boys & heard all about the CA Girls. Three of my friends could not take it anymore & moved to the LA area right after highschool (1964) and I wanted to go in the worst way. They ended up coming back to Detroit, also.

In my lifetime, I can't believe how much CA has appeared to have changed, to me. I wouldn't live there to save my life!!! It seems to me that the biggest changes are related to the Leftist thinking that is prevelant in parts of the state. CA is a beautiful state, physically. It has more to offer than, probably, any other state in the union. Many of the people are terriffic. But, some of them leave a lot to be desired. It's sad to watch the decline of what could be the greatest state in the union.

In 1976, I moved from Detroit to Phoenix, AZ. I loved it here. Really felt like you were out west. No gun control like we had in Detroit. The city & state were beautiful. I guess I had watched one too many westerns when I was a kid but, I loved the western atmosphere. Love western clothing & movies, still. Used to see a lot of people wearing western clothing but, not much, anymore. Too many of us (including me) from back east have moved out here & changed the personality of the city & state. I find that very disappointing. There is a strong Leftist community here, also.

It seems that the term "Cowboy" has come to mean "low class". I think a lot of that has come from the media's calling Predident Bush a "cowboy" in a derogatory fassion. I find that rather offensive & is one more reason for disappointment with our media.

Since moving to AZ. , I've been to many rodeo's & have seen families where the grandfather was dressed western, as was his son, the father & the grandson. When I was a kid, the last thing I wanted to do was dress like my Dad (no offense to my Dad who was a brilliant, wonderful man). The whole family had a common interest, which, is great. I don't see that happening so much, anymore. Too bad, in my opinion.

I wonder, if the Leftist thinking is so correct, why is CA in the condition it is in, today? It has gone from being the top state in the union to one very near the bottom. What is wrong with that picture? The citizens of CA deserve better. It's a great state with a lot of fantastic people!!!

If you don't want the illegals and if you don't like heat and humidity don't come here to Texas. We have thousands of illegals and parts of Ft Worth they have taken completely over.

Illegals are everywhere thanks to federal policies but they don't run the government as their cousins do in Sacremento.

The humidity is not a factor in much of Texas. In the western part of the state the humidy is always low and a breeze or wind always blows.

CFast,

I invite you to visit Texas and consider it. "Texas is a whole different world" as the slogan once stated. We are still free and indendent citizens here. If you're passing through West Texas and need a place to stop overnight I'll provide a spare bedroom or RV parking.

Dallas is not my favorite city but it is a huge business center and normally offers lots of job opportunities.

Fort Worth is part of the huge DFW metropolitan area but has a different culture and attitude. It is a more desirable city, IMO, more western it seems.

If you are young and still working you'll need to go where the job opportunties are better but the smaller cities and towns farther west are more desirable places to live.

Californians who move here never look back.
