I'm working at some busy intersections, and there seems to be WHEELBARROW loads of butts laying about.

Hey Smokers, keep your **** filthy habit to yourself, a butt is litter just as a pop bottle or any other garbage.
Just because you live like a pig doesn't mean the rest of us should have to.

I'm a smoker and I absolutely agree with you. Litter is litter no matter what it is and it is one of those things that gets me going. I live along a rural paved road that is not far from a lake and has a lot of traffic for its location. Every **** time I mow the yard I have to pick up beer cans, sacks, cig. wrappers, pop cans, etc. I even picked up a dirty disposable diaper once. There's no telling what the U. S. spends as a whole on litter clean up?

That is exactly why I titled it "inconsiderate", not all smokers.

I am afraid the bad far outnumber the good though.

What is even worse, is my friends or Mother stop by and throw them down right in front of my door!

Gene... I agree! Or what about when ya go over to someone's house, and they have a "butt-bucket" outside the door? Its almost guaranteed to be overflowing... and still it doesn't get emptied! Gross!

We have one of those "Butt Buckets" where I work. It's always full! In Michigan, it's illegal to smoke on school property and the "Butt Bucket" still gets filled to overflowing!!



Back when we were kids, my 10 year old cousin used to walk up and down the highway picking up butts to smoke later. He'd pick up cigarette butts and cigar butts. I always thought that was the grossest thing!! Come on smokers... do you want some kid sucking on your butt?

When I went to look at the truck that is now mine, we were heading down the interstate and someone threw there butt out thier window and it bounced and landed in/on our car somehow and the still dieing butt smoked us through the A/C vent..... was really maddening..... so anyway I dislike the whole nasty habit! glad I never got pulled in! . . This is only one of the things that really jerks my chain,,When you try to say something polite to these morons about what they just did,they'll look at you and tell you about their exqiusite knowledge of the english language,,Makes you want to collect all the flithy dirty stinking butts up,put them in a bag and find out where they live and DEPOSIT them ON THEIR property,,These are not the only morons though,don't forget about the trash idiots that can not carry there garbage to a trash recepticle and get rid of it,instead OUT THE WNDOW IT GOES,,Make me want to slap them silly,,

talking about people throwing trash out the car window reminded me of this story. I was standing in the front yard several years ago, a car came by and out came a Micky D's sack. Landed in my driveway. I politely picked the sack up, jumped in the truck and headed down the road. Pulled in the guy's driveway just as he was opening the door to go into his house. pulled right up to the door of his house, threw the sack in his door, over his head, and then i backed out and left. to this day, he still won't look over at my house as he goes by.

I'd like to see a deposit on cigarette butts like they have on alum cans in Oregon - say, $. 25 - $. 50 per butt. Think that would solve the litter problem?

I think I will take up smoking. Some coke-sniffing, acoholic, smoker was "awarded" $3,000,000,000 in Kommiefornia because he claims Philip Morris didn't warn him about the dangers of smoking.

Just read in todays paper that a Muslim leader has issued a 'fatwa' (sp?) that bans Muslims from smoking. Cited the abuse to the smokers body and the body standing next to him.





Thought it was kinda interesting.
