Spent nearly 4 hours and 1 gallon of paint thinner cleaning off the side of the wife's van after she (swears she wasn't aiming for it) ran over a bag of something. After close inspection it appears to be liquid nails. Oh year, and she waited 2 days to tell me it wouldn't come off when she washed it Thanks. So much easier to deal with after it has had time to bake on in the CA sun. What a pain in the %&^!!!!

OK, you know I have to ask... and we have all admitted a few boo-boos on the board... let us hear the story!

I really don't know how it got in there. I had my rear seat out and my friend and I were building a speaker box for my seat to sit on. We had to seal every seam of the box with liquid nails and that stuff gets everywhere if you're not careful. I have some on my seat too. It's just a little spot though.

I ran over a bottle of white construction glue(a gallon) on the passenger side and didn't realize it for a few weeks (i always drive my truck) it would not come off with any thing. cost me almost 300 bucks to have it professionally done and they still wont tell me how they got it off

Next time try diesel fuel. It just wipes off with no scrubbing, or very little. Just remember to wax the truck after.

I thought I was the only one to run over a tube of liquid nails. It was laying on the highway with some construction debris that must have fell out of someone's truck, I aimed for the least damaging looking piece of junk, still have liquid nails in my wheel wells after five years. What the heck, it's just a truck.
