I'm just not familiar w/ how different combos dyno on these engines, and I realize that you never know till you put 'em on the rollers, but looking for a ballpark... planning on going to the dyno this sunday and see what she does.

dynojet machine...

215 pump, #0 plate full forward, 370's, 16. 5* timing, hx40-16 set at ~39-40psi, 5" straight exhaust, nv4500

I'm assuming I should dyno it in 5th... roll into the throttle around 1500 and give it hell?

thanks,

Forrest

I admit I'm not all that bright, but, don't you loose power in 5th (OD) gear? Does the software on the dyno calculate this out?

Sorry for being remedial, but, I'm trying to learn. :(

450-500 depending on how the correction factor for weather is. Now with all the rides I have seen on the local jet here I feel correction factor is a moot point but I thought I'd better add it to this for you... ..... Andy

forrest, i'd say around 460?? im @ 432 with my stock 35... im hoping to make it to tha dyno around dallas on saturday, where's it located again????
