I'm looking at adding gauges to my new truck and I'm wondering what the boost range of the Cummins is. My old PSD was happy with a 35psi boost gauge, will my Dodge be happy also or do I need to get a 60psi gauge for it? I don't plan on getting crazy with the mod's on this truck till later in the warrenty period, then watch out.

If you are planning to stay stock, you will be OK with the 35 psi gauge. If you are going to BOMB, then you better consider a 50 psi gauge. It doesn't take much to get over 40 anymore

Boost Gauge

Go with the 50 or 60. Stock you will be in the low 30's.

Otherwise you will be buying a larger gauge down the road.

the WG cracks open at 23psi on my 04 and i have peaked at about 25psi full load. the new 04. 5's need more range than a 0-35. they can almost peg that stock, and if they mod at all, they will go over that... . when i begining modding, my 0-35 will become fuel pressure, and i'll get a 0-60 gauge...
