I have a few problems on my "new" truck

First the tilt column is really sloppy, it looks as if there used to be a pin or something there and it broke/fell out so they put in a screw and it is now broken... . is there a fix for this? Where do I get parts?



The speedo goes to 32 mph as soon as the key is turned on but it works from there on out... like it thinks 32 = 0 mph. Any ideas?



The fuel gauge doesn't work although it does move around alot like it thinks it is working.



Cab clearence lights don't work, I am checking the bulbs today.



The a/c doesn't seem to work and when you go to a spot (any of the a/c spots and the defrost spot) that uses the compressor the warning panel lights all come on... i. e. wait to start, brake, etc.



I am sure I can find somemore issues all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check you body grounds.



The one from the battery neg terminal is screwed to the raditor support. There is paint under it. Remove the paint and screw it back down.



The dash grounds are located on the support brace to the right of the steering column. You can see them if you drop the access plate under the column and look behind your OD switch.



Let us know if that helps any.

As far as the wait to start light etc... When mine did that the windows failed to work too. It was a fusible link (orange) in the wiring harness, drivers side fender. Hope this helps
