Here I am

I have a friend, who knows this guy....

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

What do you eat?

Do you have a favorite caliber?

Ok, This is how they all start... . His father works for a company, in this case d/c. It has been said that this company will have a suburban type vehicle on the showroom floors in August 2003.

I did a search, there wasn't any particular info on this subject.

Just looking for a little conformation, additional information, general thoughts. In my dreams, right... .....

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more... .....

I don't know but this one guy said he saw them running around in Mexico over a year ago. Looked like an over sized Durango.

Chuck3, I have seen, taken pics of the oversized Durango. Looks like the Ramcharger of old with the 94 front clip. They don't have 4 doors and importing would be a pain. Saw it in San Antonio, had Mexico plates. Thanks for the reply.

Shovelhead, saw this at the auto show. I don't know if they could get our beloved Cummins in there. Thanks for the pix.

My wife really wants one with the Cummins engine. Wouldn't bother me either. We might take the plunge, buy a used regular cab, or an '02 and give Mark Bayer a call. Pricey though. Not that one from the factory would be any different.

Thanks again, you guys are why the TDR rocks. :D

A dealer told me a long time ago that they have them in Mexico/South America. They are not allowed to be sold in the US due to federal regulations related to fuel economy and the ratio of cars to trucks an automaker sells.

Why NOT a Detroit Diesel? The following is taken directly from their website:

Detroit Diesel is a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, the world's leading manufacturer of heavy-duty truck engines, and is one of the DaimlerChrysler Powersystems group of companies.

Detroit Diesels

Not my idea of the ideal powerplant, after my experience repairing 71 Series and 92 Series engines. They may offer some decent four-stroke engines now, but those old 2-strokers SUCKED!!!!

I would rather see one of the Mercedes Benz diesels offered by DC Powersystems (if they can't use the mighty CTD of course).

I spent a few months riding my motorcycle through Mexico and Central America last winter and saw lots of Dodges that are not sold in the states. A new version of the Ram Charger is very popular in Mexico, as are 4500/5500/6500 Cummins trucks.
