Anyone using the FS 2500 bypass filtration?

When I bought my truck it had a BanksBrake on it and it works well enough for me to want to keep it. I am looking at turbo upgrades and I know that I can replace my HY with an HX35 PDR and it will bolt up with my brake. The problem is that I would like to get a bigger turbo but I don't know if anything will work with the BanksBrake.

Does anyone know of aftermarket turbos that will be compatible with the same exhaust outlet as the HX35 or are they all different? I know I could sell the brake and get another one but I'm trying to use what I have if at all possible. Thanks for any info

I read threads where guys say that the Dodgezilla turbo bolts up. I'd ask Bob Wagner to be certain... . he sells them.

Yes the Dodgezilla is also one that works. My understanding is that it is also an HX35 hybrid. I was looking for one of the S300-based turbos but I think they will require the BanksBrake to go.

Yes the S300 based turbos have hx40 flanges or 3rd gen flanges. I mounted a 3rd gen brake that I bought on ebay for $300. The S300 based turbos are the way to go... . you can sell the brake & buy a 3rd gen on ebay... . Just a thought.

How difficult is it to make a 3 gen exh. brake work on 2 gen truck. One is 3 and the other is 4", so 4" downpipe, but what about the harness, vacuum lines, connections... are those all the same?

You have to use a 3rd gen style turbo, exhaust downpipe flange & a slight modification on the vacuum solenoid [rotating the actuator 180*]. If you are running a vacuum actuated brake... . then yes everything else is the same.

I was afraid that was the case. I did consider selling the Banks and replacing it but I hate to buy what I have already.

724, what brand of brake did you find ro $300? I would not hesitate to change over if I could find one for that price.
