I've haven't memorized the posts, but I seem to remember that if you 'reflash' the Smarty, then you can't get back a earlier version, right?

I think I read that the Smarty said, it didn't recognize the earlier software or something.



Is this true-can you reload the earlier software if you decide that you liked it better?

From what I gather this latest 4. 4 beta release is only available for modified trucks (aftermarket turbo/injectors/etc. ). Is there a beta version out for stock engines as well?

My brother wants to sell his Smarty, he has a bone stock 2006 2WD 6speed, he likes the power but the smoke is out of hand, I already put the 4. 4 software on it, the smoke is less, but he says it is still pretty easy to black out the road if hes not careful. I told him to wait, hoping that they will release a new software that is going to give everyone what they want, lots of power NO smoke. I told him to hang on a little longer, he only bought the thing about 2 months ago, I am sure someone here wouldn't mind getting a good deal on a slightly used Smarty S-06.
