Let me explain, for the last two days while i am going to town for lunch. There is a new chebby that is always trying me . I dont go looking for races at my age but i am getting tired of this boy. So tomorrow i am going to not hold back. There is a long hill that i go up and tomorrow i will make sure i get to the top first. Question is i think his truck has the 8 liter gas. Can i stomp him from 40mph up to 80 or so? Or am i out of luck. What do you all think. . Like i said i dont go looking for it but i am tired of this idiot.

What is your truck? Mods? transmission? Let me warn you, if you are not OVER 300HP at the rear wheels the 8. 1 gas job will probably win empty running up a hill. I have run one, a 3500 single cab with the auto transmission. They are a whole lot quicker than you think. If you have 4. 10 gears you can probably whoop him from 40-80 at 250 RWHP. Good luck!!!!

I have 355 gears and i am running a edge box and i keep it on the number 3 setting. also the only thing i have is straight exhast, BHAF, but thats the only thing going for me now. Sounds like i need to save up for a comp box and a new clutch i guess. I have the 6 speed. I just normaly pull my horse tralier. Thanks alot guys , not sure what i will do

Don't let him push you around, give him a try, the worst that can happen is he will beat you, but then next time you can be ready for him.

I got some kid with the same truck keep on mouthing off about his Cheby. He keeps telling me how his exhaust added 100hp and stuff. I just keep him wishing I would race him. But one day when we are both heading up the mountians, he will have 10,000 lbs of trailer, I will have 10,000 lbs of trailer, and we will come to this big mountains pass (big for PA mountains), then I will take care of him

Up Date, well i went to lunch today same time etc, it was a no show. Maybe tomorrow , i was ready. I am not sure if he has the 8 liter mtr, but either way the next time he challenge me the , big stick will be unleashed. I didnt buy my truck to race, but its a nice looking truck and i think they see the piller gauges etc and i am always getting challenged. . Thanks Boys for your help.
