I listed my truck on Ebay tonight. I need 4 doors for my family and I have to move to a third generation truck. :(

I'll be checking the boards still though!!

Thanks!!

Here is the item description - 38 pictures on EBAY:

Up for grabs is my 1992 Dodge Diesel W250 Power Ram. It is in excellent shape with little or no rust and runs great! It has a full size bed. The interior has been nicely updated with new leather Dodge seats. The center console is also new and has a lot of storage space in it. The drivers seat is power and so are the windows and locks. I had a keyless entry system installed as well. The stereo has been upgraded to an Alpine with remote (so you don't have to reach) and all the speakers have been replaced with Memphis speakers. A Memphis amp powers those speakers. I also had a 10" Memphis Sub with another Memphis amp installed as well. Over 500 watts from the sound system makes the noise of a truck this big disappear (even with the windows down). The truck has a class IV hitch and a goose neck setup as well (hidden). The goose neck is hidden bellow a flip up plate attached to the frame so you still have full use of the bed. I setup a gauge pod that has a transmission temperature gauge, exhaust temperature gauge, and a boost gauge. Everything you need to safely tow.

Now for the mods! I replaced the turbo with a new Piers HX35 turbo less than 4000 miles ago. I also replaced all the injectors with Bosch 190 injectors less than 4000 miles ago. I had the injector pump and lifter pump serviced less than 50 miles ago which included a complete rebuild and recalibration from St. Joseph Diesel. The complete fuel system is in excellent shape. I also added an "Old Smokey" fuel pin from Dyno-Mite Diesel. I replaced the governor springs with a Piers Diesel governor spring kit. This allows the truck to rev up to 3000 rpm and make power all the way. The steering shaft is a Borgeson and I just replaced the drag link as well. The truck drives straight and is not loose. The brakes were completely serviced less than 5000 miles ago and I had the rotors replaced and ceramic pads installed. I had a Draw Tight electric brake controller installed The tires are less than a year old and are in excellent shape. They have plenty of life left in them. In the bed of the truck is a 60 gallon RDS aluminum tank tool box combo. This tank is very nice and allows you to drive a long time without stopping. It feeds directly into the truck's fuel tank and has a shutoff valve on the side of the box (easy to reach). The tool box part of it is six inches deep and runs the entire width of the tank. The exhaust pipe is four inches wide. I will include the service manual for the truck. It is from the Dodge dealership and has everything you could want to know about this truck in it. You can fix anything with it!!

All these items listed make this truck and excellent towing machine. Don't let the miles fool you! This truck is ready to run and pull! The only reason I am selling it is to buy a four door Dodge truck. I have 2 kids now and I need the extra room of a four door truck.

This truck is in excellent shape and only has a few minor dings on it. Keep in mind it is a 1992 and isn't perfect, but it is very nice. I only use Cummins oil filters and fuel filters. I will include the extras I have of each. The paint is not fading or peeling. The bumpers are straight and nice. The transmission shifts smooth and the engine runs great! The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt 30,000 miles ago. With that said, I am selling the truck as is. Please look at all the pictures and ask questions before you bid.

Here are the only know problems: The headliner is starting to come down a little (I have read that you can fix this with 3m adhesive spray); The piece of plastic that goes around the headliner has some cracks in it; when you shift the little orange indicator doesn't move (it stays on park); there are a couple small dings on the truck; the little fog lights on the front aren't hooked up

Me too!

I have unfortunately arrived at the same situation minus the family. My truck went in the TDR adds 12-09-05. I just bought a 30' 5th wheel and while she pulls it all day long, stopping is a serious issue on long mtn grades. Check out the 1st gen. classifieds. Trying to find a nv-5600, 3500, 2005 slt quad cad long wheel base 4x4 still new on the lot but is a hard search. Happy days all. _ bear

That's the original paint... . it was in Tennessee for 90% of it's life. I really like this truck because of the shape it's in, I just can't take the small back seat. If I had more money I would just keep it and buy another truck. :{

I don't know why I didn't get an engine shot... . or a sideways shot for that matter.

That truck is clean! Too bad the milage will scare everybody away. :(

All you guys crying about the space need to buy my crew cab conversion. :D

Good luck with your sale.

That's a very nice truck you have there. I wish that I was a little closer to come and take a look at it. Good luck with your sale.

Very nice W250, good luck with the auction!

I to would like to know more details on the seats. What year are they from? How much work did it take to get them in there? How did you hook up the power side? Is the console from a Ford SD?

Thanks,

Eric

The seats were not hard. I believe they were out of a 2003. The dodge dealerships always have stuff like this laying around or you can try ebay. Scrap yards are good too. If you can drill and bolt you can put them in. The electric was not bad, I had a friend do it, but he said he just ran power just like a gauge power supply (on and off with the key). The hardest part was making sure everything was straight. Measure twice, drill once. It made a huge difference in the interior. Also make sure to look where you are drilling through to make sure you don't hit anything.

Thanks for the reply JGorombey!

I looked at a set yesterday at a local salvage yard, they were leather and had power seats on both sides and a power point in the center console. Only thing they are the wrong color. :(

Looking at the brackets I see that you would need to make some L brackets to bolt them to the floor. Did you do yours this way? If not how did you mount them? Also did you have to adjust the mounting height? How did you mount the rear bench?

Thanks again for the help.

Eric

Almost me

If I only wasn't so doggone broke right now... :{

I almost bought it anyway... That truck looks really nice. It will probably cost me more than you got for it to fix mine up not nearly that nice. The second seat would have been nice. Good luck with the quad thing.

I understand the door thing. I have 7 kiddos now and I need 6 doors. :-laf

Actually, the first is about to start driving now, so I might get away with having him be the taxi for a change. :-laf
